@60minutes: South Korea’s shipbuilding industry has surged ahead of the U.S. In Hanwha's shipyard in Korea, robots work alongside more than 26,000 workers. The yard trains about 400 workers at a time using virtual reality to prepare them for shipbuilding jobs. Meanwhile, in Philadelphia, Hanwha’s Philly Shipyard onboards about 20 workers at a time. It delivers about one ship a year, whereas in Hanwha's South Korean yard, it delivers about one a week, says David Kim, CEO of the Philly Shipyard. #shipbuilding #manufacturing #southkorea

This is why Trump is fixing now. South Korea will be opening shipbuilding in the USA soon, and Trump is working to upgrade USA shipbuilding as well, but in the USA it will cost a lot of money, whereas in the Philippines they have a new one that is already operational.
