I use to work at the be at bexar country elections and walking in the building was Gregg Popovich.we all wave through the glass he waved back going in and another wave leaving.Then to our surprise he took his time to take pictures and greet us. Best day ever

Saw Tony Parker at an HEB I used to work at, he was crouched over a cart on his phone and my coworker said he comes in to shop for his mom who lives nearby. I remember thinking how cute, even spurs still shop for their moms 🥹

Manu would go to Schlitterbahn weekly when I was a lifeguard there about 10 yrs ago. Would just say “hey manu have a good day!” And he’d say “you too”. Was always so cool to see him but we would NEVER bother him 😂

I saw David Robinson at Rosario’s in San Antonio, he was celebrating his birthday and i waved like i knew him and he waved like he knew me and just went about my time. He wasn’t even sitting in a reserved area! And nobody was being weird or bothered him or tried to take pictures of him from afar. It was cool

Thanks for not running up to him. We see him at AAU basketball tournaments a lot. So many people go up to him and ask for pictures. He looks worn out and usually says no sorry. He just wants to watch his kids games. He has this rule of when he’s with his kids he doesn’t take pictures.
