No microchip. No one came for either of them. This petite 1 year old shepherd mix is struggling with shelter stress and is often found hiding in his back cubby, but staff and volunteers have been working with him and he’s slowly starting to come out of his shell. In playgroups he mostly keeps to himself, but lately we’re seeing little bursts of play. We’d love to see this shy guy land in a home with experienced handlers who understand fearful dogs and can help him feel safe.
