the suspicion of AI use… And it’s all falling on the author… and yet the publisher is not getting any heat? What is going on here. The publisher sent this to PRINT and they didn’t do their jobs beforehand? I’m confused.

i read it, regardless of it being AI or not - it’s bad… was very disappointing as the plot sounded promising but the writing was not it (probably AI)

I think it sets such a needed precedent, especially if it’s a contract breech and would require her to pay back her advance. There’s no better deterrent for someone aiming to publish AI generated books than the threat of public shame and monetary loss. We have to protect our art and this is a good step in that direction
