As an ENT nurse of over a decade, I can ASSURE you that you cannot externally manipulate the nasal septum and in nearly every case of a DNS, there is more than the septum involved. Generally, it is septum, inferior nasal turbinates, middle turbinates and sometimes concha bullosa and nasal valve collapse…..so this is ABSOLUTELY ineffective and a hoax. If you have a DNS please, go see a qualified, ACTUAL medical professional who can address your concerns

MD here. Spinal manipulation does not open sinuses. There is no anatomical mechanism by which cracking someone's neck drains their sinuses. None. This is the core fraud of chiropractic — the claim that adjusting the spine treats conditions that have nothing to do with the spine. Sinusitis is caused by inflammation, infection, or structural obstruction. It's treated with saline rinses, steroids, antibiotics, or surgery. If your sinuses feel temporarily better after this, it's the placebo response. If they don't get better and you keep coming back to this guy instead of seeing an ENT, that's the real danger.
