@mom2manygreens: One of our kids recently lost his biological mom, and the pain he felt was heartbreaking to watch. I’m sharing this for the one biological mom who might come across it and realize she still matters and that her child still carries love for her. And yes, I asked him before sharing.” #FosterCareAwareness #YouStillMatter #ReunificationMatters #fyp #TraumaInformedParenting
I just want to share a quick disclaimer—this happened over a month ago, not recently. We would never post something this personal without giving him that space first. He is also old enough to understand and give permission, and we made sure to have that conversation with him before sharing. Our only intention is to bring awareness and hope to someone who may need it.

The fact that you told him and then comforted him shows your heart. You showed him that it’s okay to hurt for his bio mama as you comfort him as his mama💕

I'm 41 years old and I just found out my bio mom died several years ago. I never got to meet her, but the pain was still so palpable. Hug him tight!

I generally love your content. I have been struggling with the path I have known my whole life I should have been on but was to busy I got cancer and it stretched out years instead of months. Watching yours and other content creators has made me realize I have been so selfish and in need to do what I should have been doing a long time and thank you for that but this moment even though we don't know which child you were talking to a lot of people do and moments like these should remain private. I'm sorry so sorry for him.

I'm in the process of trying to get my babies back. I've made mistakes but I'm trying to do everything I'm supposed to, to make the right choices but it's so hard without them and sometimes I wonder if I really deserve them or not. and my minds not been in the best place. my depression is alot to deal with, but I really just needed to hear this 😭😭

Kelly I don’t often say much but you’re just such an amazing person! Your heart is so big and so full of love. I have two cousins who were adopted by my aunt and uncle and when they were adopted open adoption wasn’t available where we are. What you do for these kids is provide them the wisdom and love to be able to still love their bio parents despite the reason for adoption. That my sweet lady is in itself so so so amazing. I hope your child is able to grieve how they need to and the little memories will make the process a touch easier! I send nothing but love ❤️

it's good to see you tell him and then made sure he was okay this shows parenting on a whole different level I'm glad there's parents out there like this. you not only showed him it was okay but made sure he was okay. tell him I'm sorry for his loss and I hope he's okay. 💯

This made me cry so much. I don’t get to see my babies. Been clean 5 years and still don’t get to see them. I now have my 16 month old daughter which she’s never got to meet her brothers or sister. I pray every single day that she’ll let us see them one day soon 😭😭🙏

Wasn’t expecting this to hit this hard. Recently got 1/3 of my babies back in my life and I can’t tell you how many times I thought they’d be better off or it wouldn’t affect them. Thank you for this. Truly

As an adopted child and losing both parents after being adopted. The love you have for your parents never go away no matter what happens. You will always love them. It hurts so much.
