watch martograph’s speedpaints, they help a lot. (That’s the artist of the second photo) Also for this try doing most of the painting from far away instead of being zoomed in all the time it helps a lot

Most of these are artworks from Yuming Li, he has a class where he teaches all of this online. I took it, it’s very good. Simultaneous contrast of color, very effective value grouping, good design and foundation skills etc

Everyone saying color theory (and while that is true), Tone curve, gradient maps, and color balance will get you here with enough finicking around lol

No BS, it's value, color theory, and simplification.
A good place to start is practice Notan studies to group shadow shapes.

If in short according to his classes and his own analysis to his work, he uses the technique of tonal readability. This means in grayscale the shadow/light shape will fully look flat, while in color you definitely can see all the details and volume. He uses different colors of the SAME tone in shadow family and the same for the light family. But you will not be able to do this until you learn value and colors goog. Because different colors with the same luminosity on color wheel will still have different tone. You can watch a free yt video of Marco Bucci about this, he explains it very good. After that you can take classes of Yumingli, they're pretty good but he's not too good in explanations so better write synopsis of 2-3 pages for each lesson

its all values. play with the “luminosity” lighting profile thing (i know procreate has one) and you can experiment with colors ,, my art isnt as good as theirs but i tried to do something similar with said luminosity values

Study real pictures. Find images of objects/food/statues/ whatever kind of subject youre interested in and draw what you see. Theres plenty of pretty references on pinterest! Some of the images you used as an example are studies of that exact variety. And make sure not to just reference another artist's art, use REAL pictures. It's not as difficult as you might think.

those "glowy colors" have super high SATURATION contrast to the colors around them, but almost no VALUE contrast. that gets you like 75% of the way lmao

look into composition and edge control, also for color theory you have to fundamentally change how you see colors. choose your colors based on mood
