Yup!! when Nobu was confessing his love for Hachi, he was idealizing her but at the same time she didn't think she deserved Nobu (she couldn't see what nobu sees in her). Nana K. thought she deserved Takumi especially because of her past. Her secret affair with a married man and her relationship with Shoji—Junko defending Shoji when she got cheated on kinda confirms her pov and thinking. All she wanted was for her love to be reciprocated. ❤️‍🩹

the fact it switches from when hachi finally decides to put herself first to when hachi finds out she’s pregnant to show that ultimately, she went back on her word and actually (and arguably) fell more ‘deeply’ in love which resulted in her getting married and starting a family is DEVASTATINGGG.
