i wish ppl would think more, cause they're proving your point in the comments. dirty hair isn't growing faster, your hair growth rate is genetic. thinking your hair is growing faster bc it's dirty is bc you aren't heavily manipulating it. if you washed every 7-10 days then did a low manipulation style in between, while being GENTLE WITH YOUR HAIR, you would see the same type of length retention. (albeit stress, water intake, diet, etc.)

Hair should be washed every 7-10 days. Dirty hair growing is a myth. It’s growing because you’re not over manipulating it not because you’re not washing it

To each their own. My hair stretches all the way to my tail & I wash it really whenever I feel up to it. The point is LOW MANAGEABILITY stop putting yall hands in your head so much, just leave it alone & let it do its thing!
