I am a teacher. I see parents all the time not put down on record what their kids are allergic to. Schools go with what they have on file, not what the kids say.

As a teacher and I cook at my early learning center, if a child has a new allergy I immediately call the parents to get it settled, and tell them I need a drs. Note asap.
