When people bring up Ciara and Jana, they're saying there were better less problematic options for ABC to grab viewers. No one thinks the network would actually protect them 😄. Regardless Peacock/Bravo is a better place for my girls.

Black Bachlorette’s have never done well. I think Jana and Ciara are stunning and so eligible but they wouldn’t be supported. It’s sad AF.

As someone who watched many Bachelorette seasons - the Black girls were “chosen” because they were fan favorites on their Bachelor seasons. They used to only cast from the “bachelor nation pool”. The white gaze isn’t really a factor when their seasons primarily cast Black men that don’t date Black women 😉. The Real Reason it will never be JaNa is because she’s under contract with NBC/universal. 😉🤷🏽♀️
