Her powers not being random but a gift as a part of her being the fifth spirit when she always thought it was a curse as a child up until early adulthood is such a beautiful way to deepen this plot line and teach children as well as everybody self acceptance and that even when you can’t see it you are such a gift in your own way.

no because it was anna who needed to tell elsa that, not a love interest, not her parents. her sister. who always, even when she was pushed away, stood by her and tried so hard for her; the little sister who wanted to make her older sister proud of her in every way, who always loved her regardless of what happened.

frozen 2 is genuinely one of my favourite movies as an older sister. the scene where they locate the shipwreck and Elsa thaws the water to reveal more of her parents gives me chills, as well as the entire Ahtohallan scene. an amazing edit!
