You just have to think positively… you just have to forgive… you just have to let go… you just have to stop worrying so much. If people only knew how desperate I was to have the ability to do this. It’s not some switch you can just flip. The prolonged exposure is so devastating to the entire body. I just turned 42 and my first traumatic event I can note was at 1. I’ve only been in a safe space with my kids for a little over a year. I am just breaking apart right and left, but also feel strong and capable. It’s a very confusing time. I know healing is possible and will come, but the suffering, the pain, it can absolutely consume you.

You heal in isolation. Because people who don’t have it, just don’t understand. It’s not “living in the past” it is a brain injury. Flashbacks are the worst.

также у меня нету денег на хорошего психиатора/психотерапевта, в котором я буду уверена: да, он меня не отправит в психушку, где мне будет ещё хуже
