I'm new to DC and the Batman glaze is so weird to me. Why is it so common for people to downplay other characters intelligence/capabilities or even just straight up humiliate them to prop him up? The Justice League is supposed to be Earth's main line of defense, so the idea that anyone on that team would be weak or incompetent is just ridiculous
