We turned our front sitting room into a library because it was neverrrr used and now we basically live in there lol. We’ve started adding bookcases to the other side!

my 'guest' room is a home gym and an air mattress.. I've lived in my house for 6 years and use the gym regularly and have only had one guest....

It’s not an unpopular opinion. Libraries are much better than rooms which are used for nothing 99% of the time. Room turned out gorgeous.

This is why I’m planning for a functional guest room. A hidden bed or futon. Something that I can use daily but has a bed for someone if they need it.
