I used to go for a little run on the beach or near home 3 times a week, just because i found jt fun and a good way to keep fit, it was a casual hobby. People got so intense about it after fitness trackers became a thing. It’s the same with cycling, why is it so serious?! I got talked into a half marathon and literally never ran again, the training regimen sucked all the fun out of it!
