@thattilechick: Easiest fix for tile backer board bumping out where it installs over a tub flange - Great benefit about @hydroblokofficial is that it is an XPS foam (closed cell) which means even if water penetrates through that first layer the foam itself is waterproof and it won’t allow water penetration unlike other shower systems which use an open cell or EPS foam core which can allow water to absorb. - This allows you to do this little trick like shown here to accommodate for the tub flange thickness and reduce that annoying bump out of the board.
