Hi Lanna❣️. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with your journey. I’m 57 and have been with my wife for 32 years. But before that I was with my husband for 8 years and had 3 kids. Never totally happy, was in depression for years. I’m glad you figured it out in your 20’s. I thought I was bisexual since I was 14. Everyone’s journey is different and no one knows what we are doing…sometimes not even ourselves. Life is confusing and messy. Love your self first and never let the haters tell you who you are. Nothing but love sister 💕

This is so validating. It’s exactly what I’m struggling with rn, 31 year old late in lifer and I’ve been trying to go to sapphic events to build community but I’m lowkey afraid to share my journey for fear of not being welcomed in bc of being a baby gay with no experience. Trying to not let it discourage me from putting myself out there

I don't know how I feel about someone being seen as coming out "later in life" in their 20s! You are so valid to find out who you are whenever that self realisation happens for you, I hope that so many more queer people have the confidence you do here to know there should never be shame in getting to know who you are for yourself ❤️

thank you omg this makes me feel so normal 😭 I always knew I was queer but I didn’t realize I was a lesbian until I was 21 so my experience is very similar. It was almost like being reborn, I’ve gotten to know myself so deeply since coming out and I feel more me than ever. That’s what keeps me from feeling shame. I didn’t know myself but now I do and it’s a beautiful thing to experience

I’m 42 and have been realizing I’m more queer than I thought I was. I am married to a man, but have been with women in the past. I’ve also realized I’m very nonbinary. There is nothing wrong with taking a while to come to these conclusions.
