I had to fly out of IAH today, my flight was at 4:16, I arrived at 11:30am, finally made it through TSA at 3pm, it’s insane. The government needs to pay those people!

Someone once told me if you can get to your destination in 10 hours drive time, just drive. Imagine waiting 5 hours in line at the airport, you could be halfway to your destination.

I feel like everyone showing up so many hours early for their flights is contributing to the long wait times… I’m sure the lines are longer than normal but if everyone is showing up 5-8 hours early then the lines are going to be hectic. Especially because most airlines won’t let you check bags until 2-4 hours before boarding so if you show up too early you can’t even go through TSA because you can’t check your bag yet…
