i had no friends till i asked my chem lab partner to study w her for our chem test & now we're bestfriends & we have a huge friend group!!!! it's hard to put yourself out there but no one's gonna just randomly become your friend if you don't try!!!!

literally sitting in my dorm alone crying bc i haven’t found “my” friends yet, im always the floater friend. trust me you’re not alone! i was thinking the same thing until i seen tiktoks of other girlies struggling just like i am. i may be a stranger but if you need to talk to someone who understands, feel free to reach out 💗💗🫶🏼

you certainly are not alone our daughter was so excited for college and to go away she was there a month and she wanted to come home we tried hard to help her finish a whole semester maybe spring would be better than her fall / winter experience December break came and her mental health was more important to us as her parents then her college experience was needless to say she transferred back home to community college and is doing much better going away isn't for everyone and that's ok sometimes we as parents want it more for our kids then they want it for themselves find what makes you happy good luck

as a freshman in college right now... im struggling with this so bad. The only person I have is my boyfriend (who thankfully goes to the same colleg) but other than him I have no one anymore. my roommate transferred and my best friend dropped out. I dont even know what to do anymore. I've tried talking to other people, but its still so lonely. and my boyfriend makes friends so easily. I feel so alone and I don't know what to do anymore.

I can’t stress this enough- join clubs that you are interested in. There will be people there with the same interests. Once your face becomes familiar to other people, even if they don’t know you, they will become friendly with you. Also, don’t be afraid to be alone sometimes because that is ok too. It’s normal.

I struggled making friends freshman year and I thought it was me. I transferred to a different school and everything fell into place with amazing friends. You’ve got this - I doubt it’s you or for lack of trying. I hope you meet your people so soon!

As a Freshman who struggled. Rotting in your room doesn’t help. You don’t even need to go out to a party but at least do your studying in the library or find a coffee shop close by.

I’m graduating in December, this never really changed for me, and I honestly just learned to be happy with being independent and not having friends beyond some classmates. Don’t feel pressure to force friendships, its honestly better to accept the situation and find happiness in your own way
