Uhhh with snow white it had nothing to do with the actress playing snow white. It had everything to do with the fact they originally didn't have dwarves but 7 magic people. Then when Disney saw the backlash, instead of hiring 7 dwarf actors they made them cgi.

I have some siblings who won’t watch animated fare, but they would watch a live action remake. And all movies are cash grabs… do you think Studio Ghibli didn’t want to make a profit on Spirited Away? Soulless vs the art with heart is a better criticism.
