@aeriscarter: The concept of a nineteen year old girl somehow getting together enough money and figuring out how to book a flight to Paris, stay there, 🛏️ and break into a pharmaceutical ☣️ facility in the nineties has always cracked me up (although admittedly, when I was nineteen, my friends and I used to try facility door knobs on campus when we were bored, and a concerning number of labs were left unlocked overnight). Claire Redfield couldn’t exactly Google instructions in 1998 (Google existed but primarily as a new prototype), and everyone she knew was displaced by the fall of Raccoon City. And then once she was in Europe, did Claire somehow thieve enough artifacts 💎 from Chief Irons back in Raccoon to have her own hotel room and live it up for the first time in her life? Did she even tell her university administration she was taking a gap year? Could she sleep at night?
