Only issue we had with Santander is that they didn’t tell us in advance that the final payment wouldn’t go through on autopay; we had to do it manually. Didn’t know til it was past due, but thankfully before it caused a credit issue.

Please disclose that these lenders are subprime lenders. That the customers credit were in this is a deciding factor on where the loan may go. In many instances, the dealer does not have options to send it to a prime bank, and the customer does not have credit to be approved through a credit union. This is a very important disclosure.

Always look to your local CREDIT UNIONS for financing. They reinvest in the communities they serve (and you can ask them where they serve) and they have much more flexibility to accommodate people. AND, as a member, you actually own a share in their success!

Financed my 2016 Kia Soul in 2017 with Santander.. not bad credit, just young and didn’t have any (low 600s) My 24RAV4 in 2024 was financed with Toyota (801 day of signing)! 💪
