@rev.gerlynhenry: Have you heard of the “margin for mercy?” It’s the idea that we intentionally make space for others- especially the poor, the widow, the foreigner and the orphan. We make this space as a part of our faithfulness. So while we harvest our grapes, we leave a margin that’s not harvested so that others can taste the fruit. It’s quite a revolutionary concept. It can be applied today. How do we make room for foreigners in our midst? How do we make space for people to safely use or rest or recover? The margin is our duty and our faith in action. #progressiveclergy
