I still don’t like how you’re flattening the term intersectionality. It is about overlapping sociopolitical identities and how they’re impacted by systemic structures. Certain intersectional identities can limit or completely override the privilege you would theoretically get from another identity. Privilege is not a wholesale system. The ending of your video moved the goalposts entirely. You weren’t originally speaking about 'innocence,' and being marginalized has nothing to do with innocence. It’s about group power dynamics and how you will be perceived and treated by the state. Also, centering Hayley Williams, a white woman, while attempting to discuss BIPOC issues makes no sense. It’s actually harmful when you try to simplify intersectionality like this when you have no firsthand experience with any system of oppression besides classism. To think BIPOC men have universal patriarchal privilege is historically delusional. Black people were literally chattel slaves. Explain how my enslaved ancestors had male privilege. How is it a privilege to be lynched? To be legally considered a commodity? To be universally stereotyped as violent thugs? How is it a privilege to suffer the racial wealth gap? How do Indigenous men on reservations, or Latino men being deported by ICE, have systemic privilege? You are completely ignoring material reality

I know in many spaces I'm privileged as a white presenting person, a toss up in some spaces as Filipino person ( a literal variety of privilege here, discrimination there) and in some spaces I'm oppressed as a woman. I'm 44 and I've gotten better at which space will be what for me but it's exhausting and I get it wrong often 😭
