As someone who graduated a long time ago, I can tell you she will be a lesser version of herself for cutting corners. Some people go to college for an education and some people go for the degree. If you go for an education, the degree seems so minimal in comparison to what you gain. I say this as a science nerd who hated my writing courses. Looking back, I am most fond of my English and writing courses. My degree is what I put on my resume. My ability to enjoy art and literature is mine forever.
