Me as a server I would say instantly, Great!! Sometimes you need time to yourself out of the caos outside!! Or something like that to cherish the special occasion, but I think Gina was just thinking on the amount of tip she would get on one person tab, and decided not to put much effort on the service, until you my guy surprised her with that great tip, the free dessert is kind of a standard in good places, so that great gesture was gonna happened anyway.
