@newsflare: This is the skin-crawling moment a colony of bees made a nest inside a motorcycle rider's helmet. Mrs Qian and her sister returned to a parking area and found hundreds of insects inside the blue helmet in Tainan, Taiwan. This prompted the siblings to call an apiarist to remove the bees on March 21. Footage shows the beekeeper wearing a yellow protective suit, vacuuming and shining a light into the helmet, which was placed on the side mirror of the vehicle. He then removed the helmet and placed it on the ground to continue extracting the insects into an enclosed white bucket. Mrs Qian said: 'We were shocked when we saw the bees, and when my sister came close, she was stung, but she is okay now. 'The beekeeper told us that there was already honey inside the helmet.' Bees are naturally attracted to enclosed, sheltered spaces when looking for a place to build a hive. A wildlife expert said that helmets can provide a dark, warm, and protected environment, making them an ideal temporary nesting spot. Once a queen settles, worker bees quickly begin forming a colony and producing honey. 🐝😅 #bees
