Me and my boyfriend have a thing, we don’t do it often but it’s really grounding. One of us will say ‘emotion of the day’ and the other sits and talks about how they’ve been feeling all day. We also have a strict rule of pinky promise. If one of us asks if the other is okay, and the other says yes, we hold out pinky to confirm. I will try these. My girlfriend is autistic and I only see her one weekend every 2 weeks and then she is really tired, which i completely understand.
