🎰🎲 Cactus Pete's Resort Casino 🎲🎰 Ok, ok. I know Cactus Petes Resort Casino and The Horseshu Hotel isn't technically in Idaho but since it's just 1 mile from the Idaho/Nevada boarder, we're giving it an honorary spot on the Idaho Bucket List 🙌 We spent last weekend in Jackpot at the famous Cactus Pete's Resort and let me tell you, we haven't stopped talking about it. We kicked off the evening by signing up for their PENN Play cards (like a loyalty card) and used it to get into their Slot Tournament! Idaho Beer Advisor won 9th place out of 150+ people and won $250 in slot plays! After the tournament we ordered some drinks and played the slots. I can't believe how many fun slot games there are! I was drawn to a beautiful fish slot machine. 🎰 Then it was off to our dinner reservation at 36 Steak & Seafood. Holy cow. The food was spectacular, the ambiance was beautiful, and the service was exceptional. 🤌 The staff prepared a classic caesar salad, table side, which was fun to experience. My steak melted in my mouth, it was so good. IT WAS SO GOOD! The manager made his rounds (another example of their great customer service) and when we asked for our check to make it to the show on time, he insisted on getting our tickets from will call, boxing up our food including extra chocolate dipped strawberries, and sneaking us into the showroom through the back entrance. ✨Talk about hospitality!✨ Our last stop for the evening was the Beatles Vs Stones show in the Gala Showroom. We are big Beatles fans and loved every second of the creative show! There is not a bad seat in the Gala Showroom and we loved having a little extra elbow room in a booth near the bar! We woke up to a beautiful view of the fall foliage and headed to breakfast in the Desert Room. 🤌 We split the cinnamon roll french toast and an omelet - so delicious! Before we left, Idaho Beer Advisor decided to use up some of his slot play money and won $710 in the Luck of the Irish machine! ☘️ All in all, it was an amazing experience that showed us the exceptional hospitality that many people already knew Cactus Pete's for.
