I’ve tried exporting my videos in 4K with a bitrate of 20,000 and 80,000, using MP4 and H.264, and setting everything correctly, but when I upload them to TikTok, the platform compresses them so much that they end up looking almost like 360p. For my workflow, I usually download the source clips from YouTube in 4K using cobalt.tools, and then I edit them, but I still run into this issue specifically on TikTok. On Instagram, the quality looks fine after uploading. Could anyone help me figure out what’s causing this and how to fix it?

Is there anything to do to bypass Tiktok’s compression? I’ve been experimenting with settings in 4k but Tiktok breaks it down by so much 😢

topaz + Apple pro res with 422hq then handbreak to compress safely and convert mov to mp4 to get the best result(thats what im usin idk if its the best but the quality is good)
