Girl, do not listen to these people telling you that it is not a real grocery store. They have entire sections for produce, bread/baked goods, meat, cheese, dairy, snacks, shelf stable items, spices, you name it. Do they have 10 different types of coffee creamer in fancy flavours? No. Do they have 8 different varieties of zucchini? No. But do they have groceries? Can you do a total and complete weekly shop there? Absolutely. And for those of us who live in super high-cost cities, TJ’s is a serious lifesaver as a budget option. I can often do a full week shop for $50. If you’ve never been then you should prepare to be pleasantly surprised.

No. If you actually want to cook or get real ingredients it’s not the spot, if u want snacks/picnic/potluck food it’s good. Also it’s owned by Aldi and when u keep that in mind it becomes TOO obvious

Like it depends. Trader Joe’s is for SNACKS and PRE-MADE meals/items. If you’re looking for that then yes it’s great. It’s a supplemental store for me bc we usually cook and it’s not a great store for ingredients. They have great items for hosting though, dips and charcuterie supplies on DECK

When I lived near one, I used to do 90% of our grocery shopping there. If you stay with whole ingredients, it’s very affordable. They also have a lot of delicious and unusual prepared frozen items. Those are not so cheap but tasty. These things are a great deal there: fruits and vegetables, oils, vinegar, jar sauces, cheeses, dips, bread, dairy, canned staples, booze, nuts and dried fruits, chocolate.

I haven't been to one in a few years cuz I don't live near one but I do miss certain items from there. I never did all of my grocery shopping there but there were definitely things like the dried fruits and bags of nuts and dolmas and some other stuff that I really loved to get there. sometimes I could get produce for a better deal there also. I don't know what it's like now but I do miss it

I love it. While you can get more selection elsewhere I love most of their things and they have a good return policy if you don’t like something. Prices are great
