dont forget that a woman reported *this* to Hyundai previously as an issue she almost came to a catastrophic conclusion with and their reply back to her was that the vehicle was working correctly and as intended. Hyundai fully knew of this danger way before this child died and did -nothing-

If it’s jammed in the lowering process then it can’t raise it again till the tension is removed, it’s like a ratchet that’s been tightened too much, it’s really difficult to release
