Unpopular (risky?) opinion : *Sometimes* I wish Laxus didn't come back this early so the Thunder Legion potential wouldn't go to waste so soon. Like, they're all really powerful but since Laxus came back they barely had any time to shine by their own. In the specific example of Fried : the more the story continues, the more he is reduced to his sole attraction to Laxus, which is seen as a "gag" at times (for example the "cat" thing). It's not necessarily bad, but it tends to overshadow his character and its potential. The BOFT Arc has shown us how powerful and also how morally complex he could be, but we hardly see that again in canon, and fanon doesn't always do him justice. Don't get me wrong, I do like Laxus, and I'm a Fraxus shipper. I also wouldn't attack Mashima to change things to align canon with my tastes, which would be absurd. Still, it's such a shame

I miss first seasons Freed sm, actually thunder legion in general, they were literally one of the most strong teams in the Guild and nowadays they cant even win a single fight 😞😞+ THE LACK OF SCREENTIME IS KILLING MEEEE, I know they arent the main focus but it gets really annoying seeing they get nothing all the time

as a fraxus fan, I gotta say they really waste freed too much. like his abilities are way too incredible and they should put him in more situations where he has the time to calculate risks and opportunities and frankly I want to see more of personality with other friends too
