@cassondrawanders: Maple Syrup Day is held annually each March at the Chippewa Nature Center, in Midland, Michigan. Maple Syrup Day celebrates the maple syrup season with a variety of hands-on activities traditional demonstrations, and a Pancake Meal. Visitors can watch sap being boiled into syrup at the Sugarhouse and observe 1870s historical sap-boiling methods. Enjoy guided tours of the sugarbush, tree-tapping practice, wagon rides to the Homestead area, and a woodstove cooking demonstration in the Homestead Cabin. There is also a Maple-themed story time, a puppet play in the Schoolhouse, scavenger hunts, and "sugar on snow" taffy tasting! #maplesyrup #midlandmichigan #naturecenter
