I’m so thankful to live in this time where we know so much more about breast cancer. 30 years ago when my grandma passed away from hers, there were no options. There was one type of chemo, and that was it.

I had a lumpectomy and I still want mastectomy . My anxiety it so bad. My next scan is June 15th. I don’t think my dr cared enough to listen to me. I should have spoke up but I was such in shock I was just going through the motions.

I have atypical ductal hyperplasia with suspected DCIS (needed to see a larger area on biopsy but said cells looked suspicious for it). I'm asking for a double mastectomy. My lifetime risk is really high and I can't take the preventative chemo due to other medical conditions. I'm not playing with this crap with my already broken body.

I had a prophylactic mastectomy 3/2024. Fat grafting 12/24. Felt a lump 1/25 - nurse said it was fat necrosis. 11/25 found lump under my armpit. 2/26 dx with stage 4 IDC. Trust your gut

I had a lumpectomy but didn’t get clear margins so I did chemo and then a DMX…my doctor said we don’t die from breast cancer but rather when it goes somewhere else
