@amber.figlow: I knew in the depths of my soul that my YouTube content creation process was NOT working… At the end of last year, I let go of my content manager… and along with that, my video editor. For a long time I thought high production was the goal. The jump cuts, the transitions, the perfectly timed animations. I had a whole process built around it. And that process was quietly the reason I kept delaying posting, and disconnected me from my content as a whole. Too many steps between filming and posting meant too much room to overthink, over-tweak, and push the publish date back. By the time some videos went live the information wasn't even relevant anymore. So now I film, edit, and schedule in the same sitting. No handoffs. No review rounds. No waiting. Just me, my camera, and a two-hour window to get it done. We're in the yap era of content and I'm fully leaning in. The creators I look up to most right now are doing the exact same thing. Sitting down, talking to camera, and hitting publish. And their audiences are showing up because the information is good, not because the edits are impressive. Your people will do the same for you.
