I am in the exact same position and only 17yo. I have made a plan to immediately start working when I’m 18 and to do my drivers license and then I’ll “run away” as soon as I have saved up enough money and finished school in abt 2 years. The plan is to apply at universities far away from my hometown and live in dorm rooms and have a mini job to save up while going to uni to afford an apartment when I’m finished. My plan isn’t perfect yet but I still have some time to work on it.
