@ijeomasimaan: I asked 15 women over 35 one simple question: what do you regret the most. I expected answers about career, children, or choosing the wrong partner… But 12 of them said the same thing: “I regret not starting to live for myself earlier.” Not because they failed… But because they built lives that required them to keep showing up every single day to sustain it. 👉 Their income depended on their time 👉 Their life depended on their effort Most of them did everything “right.” They chose stability. They built careers. They showed up for everyone else. But around 35, they realized: 👉 “I’ve built something… but it doesn’t give me freedom.” They don’t regret what they did. They regret what they kept postponing. The ideas they didn’t explore The paths they didn’t take The things they knew they were capable of… but never built One of them said: “I kept waiting for permission to do something for myself… financially, creatively, personally… like it had to make sense to everyone else first.” This isn’t about success or failure. It’s about building a life where everything depends on you… vs building something that actually supports you. Because here’s the truth: Most high-achieving women don’t need more ideas. They need to see how what they’ve already lived… can become something that pays them back. 📌 If you know you’re capable of more but your current model still depends on you showing up every day… this is your sign to build differently. Comment LEVERAGE and I’ll show you how to turn what you’ve already built into income that doesn’t rely on your time.
I agree with this 100%. I feel like for me personally that I was working ridiculous hours to get where I needed to be financially until I hit 30-31. I remember my uncle saying don’t live to work, work to live - but at the time I had to hustle because pay and opportunities were so low in my area. This was before remote work was so widely adopted. I truly hope that anyone still in that grind finds balance or they get/make the opportunity that allows them to live with joy 💕

Ooooofffff. I feel that so much about waiting for permission and what you said the one woman said about making sure that the life that I desire makes sense to everyone else before I really claim it now I realize if I just claim it and give my self permission everyone else will either align or they’ll fall away and that’s OK. 🥹🥰
