Jax is my favorite, not because I see myself in him but because I have a soft spot for traumatized fictional men who push people away because they're afraid of being close to anyone until they meet that one character who they let in. it's a basic as hell trope, and I absolutely understand why people hate it (and thus can't stand Jax), but I like it.
