Don’t forget Paracas close to Lima is really cool or if your coming across the border from Ecuador I recommend Mancora

Great itinerary! But, to save time I would recommend going to the Amazon via Puerto Maldonado (Madre de Dios). It’s only a 45 minute flight from Cusco (or 8 hour bus) and the region is known for its biodiversity!

Ik deed dus deze route maar ging pas na Cusco naar Huaraz, zo bouw je de hoogte op en acclimatiseer je veel beter. Zo veel mensen die direct na Lima naar Huaraz gaan en gelijk ziek zijn… dus dat is zeker iets om te overwegen in je route 😊

I chose the flight from Huraz to Lima and back, quicker and easy, not particular expensive and I can sleep in a bed instead of a bus.
