I went through a custody battle for 7 years with my bd. The judge made me do supervised visits with my baby and it would cost me $130 per visit for one hour. I got full custody on the 7th year just for her not to want to be with me because she was used to being with her dad (70k in attorney fees later) I’m sorry mama the worst pain in the world for anyone 💔😞

Who was the petitioner and who was the respondent? If he was the petitioner, did you file a cross-petition? If you did, did you try to present documented evidence presented in a binder with tabs and make 4 copies of it for yourself, him, the judge, and witnesses? Did you file a motion to compel for discovery of documents from him to use as evidence? As a pro se litigator you must do the research to make sure you can represent yourself effectively. The law library is an essential resource.
