In my shop, they all leave it. Then when I get the dog, it takes forever to get it right. Then they tell me I’m stupid for wasting time because the customer doesn’t even notice the difference

90% of the time it's not the previous groomer. it's the 'i don't brush my dog at home and need someone to blame.' I've been grooming for 13 years and that's usually the case. not always cause there are bad groomers, but most groomers want your dog to be as comfortable as they can be for as long as they can be while not getting brushed at home.

Sav ur fur nozzle will have this taken care of no problem. No flying hair around room. Signed bather of 16 years and used it on many impacted dogs.

I used to groom a GP. They would come in every 4 weeks. They would go on vacation to Yuma. Every single time they came back, I had a ton of work to do. It was very clear the groomer there did not force dry nor brush after.

If you bathe properly you wouldn’t have this after the bath. I get almost no hair that fly off after a good deshed bath. The save ur fur nozzle would be great for this.

So does that mean you have to shave the dog now? I know double coated ones should be shaved. What the solution for this?

I’ve seen way too many dogs come in like this, weather it’s the pet parents or groomers fault I think both should know how to properly line brush double coated dogs so this is prevented from happening again. Its all just undercoat that wasn’t brushed out but it can turn into mating

Drives me nuts.. had a dog come to me for the longest time. Sadly I had to move my location further than the owner wanted to do at the time. Dog started going to another groomer.. came back to me and this is what it was.. I’m like how the hell has that place been in business for so long 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
