Get the middle of the ironed surface, then measure 1” from the ironed point down, and 4” at the middle or more… depending on your choice of opening. Sew from both ends leaving out the 4” allowance at the middle, for the slipt. Then cut out the edge and overlock it. Then fold from round sleeve edge under the 1” allowance, then helm with helming gum. And helm the other side as well.
