But this was truly one of my favourite moments of @C2CFestival It was the first time myself and Lily had played this song together after rehearsing it only twice. I knew when I gave the song to Lily I wanted to put down my guitar for this moment and just let the piano do the talking. This song means so much to me and to see the way the crowd just stopped and listened with so much silence was something I will cherish forever ❤️ I wrote this song about my incredible dad, and how no matter what he’s been through in life he’s always made it back to the surface.
