it's been 7 months is it okay to reach out and mention I work with a therapist and a coach and to ask her if there's a chance that we could communicate again everyone says I should wait for her since she broke up I just don't know what to do

I have a question tho my ex partner he cheated repeatedly throughout most of our relationship and it caused me to need lots of reassurance and sometimes having panic attacks. And he left me because he couldn't handle it anymore. How do I go about this? I know he loves me but he was so cold and cruel to me in the end. I think I depended on him for that reassurance and even if i communicated how I felt he would just get angry. And then he ended up leaving soon after. Is there something I could have done better that I'm not seeing?

is all i can do focus on myself now? i would need to wait until and if they’re ready to reach out in anyway right? we kept breaking up and getting back together and there was so much conflict on both sides of the relationship and i kept saying i would change and that i would lessen the burden on him but i never did and i fear it’s too late now

Never ever, I will not change who I am and how I was brought up to be me, I have always been the same person, maybe boring to some, but loyal with a good personality included. I do not make any promises that I can't keep or to the best of my abilities of course, and prove it every day for 26 years, she left me a month ago, with only a letter on the kitchen counter, ouch, I can't do anything for her, It was a beautiful 26 years, with or without our problems. But the main thing in anyone's life is the saying, let them leave if they want to leave, life is short and you don't get any younger. Love your video's.

I've been consistent in my change for 4 months and she still believes it's a performance. meanwhile studies show lies and fakes can only last in 3's like 3 weeks 3 months etc, after that the facade usually falls apart and you revert back to the way it was. I feel this is the new modern way of a full on break up as it puts full weight on the one who has been left, it's a way to dodge certain aspects of their own failures because mine has more weight, plus when you involve your whole family and they turn on me it's hard for the person to welcome me back because they have involved the family and family tends to have Alot of influence on people's choices as most the time it's to please the family and validate the correct aspect about your partner they may feel and express

I did change, but i did it with another motives mostly. We were done - we both - 17 years together - 2 kids. There was one event, we had huge argument, i guess you can say that was the last cut. She went quiet and became disrespectful towards me and i became somewhat a different guy too. I just started to live my own life again, started to meet my friends; went to hunting again; started to row after long pause - got fitter; finished our vacation home (thought that il need to go live there) ; took workload off to spend more time with kids; i did take a “how to be good listener” course ect.. fast forward 3,5 months - we are talking a lot (she is doing the talking obviously venting/ranting). 4 days ago, she came to bed, straight to my arms (first time after long time), i was just holding her - she said that i have become smaller (which i guess means she has noticed that im fitter) and she fell to sleep on my chest. Everything i did mostly for myself, without seeking validation and i guess womens actualy notice everything. Im happier and on top of that it seems she wants to come back to my life.
