I've seen ppl put their palettes directly on the back of the canvas to transfer it as a stamp, you could press your hand into it instead and have the handprint be all the colors you used

I’m a custom picture framer and this reminds me of a guy who came into my store recently with a canvas painted in Pakistan, it had the artists fingerprints on the back which according to him is a common thing they do in that area instead of a certificate of authenticity, I thought it was really cool!
