I love your content so much😭😭 although I do not relate to your parenting journey because my husband and I are together and raising our daughter, the way you parent cadence heals the mother/father issues I have with my parents and really gives me tips on what I have to look forward to with my 2(almost 3) year old girl. And the way you’re so gentle with her feelings makes me wish I had those things with my mom throughout my life and I cannot wait to be that way with my girl as she grows into herself!! I do have a question though! How do you keep the line of communication open between you and cadence? I really want my daughter to come to me about literally everything even if it is something that may be uncomfortable. I didn’t have that with any of my family members aside from my sister and I am breaking that cycle!

This is good!! I always challenge people to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. A person may not make a good partner, but should be given an opportunity to parent. I know every situation is different, but if it is just ego, pride, take the help you can get.

I have no children 😭 but this resonates because it can be applied to all forms of relationship. parenting, friendships, etc. Let them. Allow the space for it, and people can either thrive & show you exactly who they are... or aren't

I also have no kids but I'm a black woman who grew up in a home which my mom didn't show me love. Now as an adult I'm navigating these challenges so seeing your pov and your relationship with your child is refreshing. Also as a teacher- some things you say and do just give me another pov when it comes to how I show up in the classroom

Stephany! Girl this is good advice, please do more content on this. I realised recently that it wasn’t really about seeing the child but it was about having access to me. Once I realised that girl I said okay parent but you will have no access to me, he ghosted 😅
