My husband and I resonate so much with this. I quit my job making 70k a year to stay home and take care of our micro premie twins. When I quit, i prayed “God if this is your will, I trust you will provide”. After my severance and unemployment ran out, my husband received a salary increase equal to my salary. 10 years later God continues to provide and exceed all of our expectations. Matthew 6: 25-34

I just quit my full time 6 figure job as a Systems Engineer last September to create Bible Prodigies to help Parents to memorize Scripture with their kids and to have the ability to be with mi child. I second this! God tripled my husbands income and I was able to start a business working part time when I gave up my 9-5 and took that leap of faith to be a present mother when my son was born . It wasn’t always easy but he has always provided more than I asked for. Obedience is better than sacrifice ❤️

Best thing we ever did was decide i’d give up my full time RN job to be home! I was able to go down to 3 days a month and by the grace of God I make more now being home than I did being there working full time, funny how it works that way. Best of both worlds!

In 2023, God told me someone would pay for our house. In 2024, I lost all my income. My husband only made about $52k/year and our rent was $2500 (that was a steal for our area), so more than half our income was going toward rent. After coming to the end of myself by August 2024, we handed it all over to the Lord to provide. We literally saw the wildest miracles happen starting with down to the dollar, God providing what we needed. Then in February 2025, we had a friend tell us God told them to start paying our rent, and when we’re ready to buy a house, they will pay our mortgage. 😳 Then my husband’s income nearly doubled, making up what we lost with mine. Even though much of 2024 was suffering, I would not trade it for anything because that’s where I learned to find Christ in suffering and to know what it is to trust God as my Father and provider.
