Ok here's a fun experiment to try. Fund a small futures trading account, and then take a position in the micro 5 year yield futures. Places where often you'd be the only person that trades that day. Then watch how the limit orders respond over time. Their inventory management routines behave in a way that works against you forcing you to eat the spread both ways. You only make money if it really really moves. In larger markets that happens in aggregate and leads to the behavior that retail thinks is stop hunting.

This is right in theory but when you work at a firm, you’ll need to have certain Greeks in order to help facilitate other product flows. So in practice we do have “opinions” on what we are quoting.

MM’s move the market, By law they don’t have to stay delta neutral the IMF also puts limits on the MM I wonder why lol. Blackrock is a MM and every MM bank and institution relies on ALADDIN trading decisions 80% of all trades that happen in the market go through black rock you seriously think they aren’t going to manipulate price to screw over leveraged trades that’s the only reason why markets move in the first place. What do you think happens when MM’s start to run low on equity from loaning out so much leverage? They need it back eventually targeting where majority of the retail liq is and that’s why price goes up and down. Every human being on that planet that’s think about investing ask them selfs “what should I buy” if that’s the case everything should be going up by our human nature, but it doesn’t because the MM wants you to take there leverage so they can eventually reverse price recollecting what they loaned out and leverage

So if you agree MMs do seek to be delta neutral. There is hints of truth in using gamma exposure. Certainly you can never prove how much a MM is participating in the volume on a certain strike. But a degree of its volume would be through them. The gripe is determining which side they are on. It’s poor to assume they are long calls and short puts. However if it is a large OI strike with large volume, reactions at levels should be present ? Is their participation in a strikes OI so unknown that it’s impossible to make an edge of it? What are your thoughts ?

Hear me out please Isn't a SL of a buy order basically selling out the position. And when you buy then there's an equal seller at that spot.... So for them to execute their big trades... They trigger the sl which are "sells" to then make it able for them to buy???

u should make a free course or series of videos teaching us exactly how we should start and what we need to do. the programs we need, what do with them, what to do in general, the steps to take, the markets or assets best in general their pros and cons. what ur doing is good, u taught me to not trade this bs anymore, but ur not TEACHING.
